Description

Unlock your lml 6.6L Cummins's true potential with this high-performance DPF delete pipe.Whether you're upgrading your 2015 Duramax exhaust or looking for a full LML 5 inch exhaust conversion, this kit delivers maximum flow and performance.

Our precision-engineered solution eliminates restrictive factory filters, dramatically reducing exhaust gas temperatures (EGTs) while improving turbo spool-up and throttle response.

The mandrel-bent construction ensures maximum flow efficiency, helping your diesel breathe easier. Perfect for off-road enthusiasts seeking better power delivery and reduced maintenance hassles.

Specification

Exhaust Material T-409 Stainless Steel, it is magnetic.
Thickness 2mm thick for long-lasting durability and heat resistance.
Inlet Diameter  4.0"/5.0‘’
mandrel-bent construction Maximum flow efficiency, helping your diesel breathe easier

Compatible with both Duramax 5" exhaust and 4" systems using transition tubes for a perfect fit on any LML exhaust layout.

Benefits

Expect to see a significant increase in fuel mileage. If your Duramax DPF is plugged up your probably averaging about 13-14 mpg. More or less depending on the severity of the restriction. After deleting the DPF/CAT expect to get a combined mileage of 18-19 mpg.

  • It removes the need to service the DPF at regular intervals (cleaning, replacement)
  • A DPF delete will remove the possibility of a DPF failure which could cause expensive diesel repairs
  • This kit is ideal for upgrading from a stock setup to a high-flow 2016 Duramax exhaust system or adding more sound and performance with a full LML 5 inch exhaust layout.
  • Due to less exhaust backpressure, the DPF delete increases exhaust flow and therefore increases the performance of your motor!
  • Paired with an ECU remap, the DPF delete is proven to increase power and torque for all vehicles

Installation

Install takes about 1hr with basic hand tools done on the ground of your driveway or garage. Quicker if you have automotive style lift. Cutting may be be required to fit shorter wheelbase bed/cab configurations. Clamps, hangers and hardware are included. You may have to re-use some factory hardware.
Tuner Required: Removal of the DPF, CAT, SCR, and/or DOC involves removing and eliminating emission related sensors. A DPF delete capable tuner is required to prevent any check engine light or diagnostic trouble codes from setting.

Fitment

2015.5 & 2016 Chevy / GMC Duramax Diesel LML. Silverado and Sierra pickup trucks.

2015 or 2015.5?

2015 is a split year. The 2011-2015 downpipe is secured to the turbo-direct pipe using a V-band style clamp. The 2015.5-2016 uses a 3 bolt flange style connection. Be sure to visually verify the clamp style your truck is equipped with.

This ensures a perfect fit for all LML Duramax exhaust setups from late 2015.5 to 2016 models, whether you plan to run a 5" LML exhaust or maintain a more factory-style configuration.

    FAQ

Q1. What’s the difference between 4" and 5" exhaust systems?

    • 4" – Better for mild/moderate tunes, retains some backpressure for low-end torque.
    • 5" – Best for high-horsepower builds, maximizes flow for reduced EGTs and top-end power.

Q2. Will a magnet stick to this pipe? Is it really stainless steel?

Yes – This pipe uses T-409 stainless steel, which is still magnetic (unlike T-304). It offers excellent corrosion resistance while being more affordable than T-304.

Q3. How thick is the pipe? Will it last?

2mm thick T-409 stainless steel – Durable enough for long-term use without excessive weight.

    Q4. Is this a full turbo-back or just downpipe-back?

    • Downpipe-Back – Replaces everything after the downpipe (DPF & exhaust).
    • For a full turbo-back system, you’ll need an additional DPF-delete downpipe.

    Q5. Will this improve performance?

    • Yes! Benefits include:
    • Lower EGTs (Exhaust Gas Temperatures)
    • Faster turbo spool
    • Better fuel efficiency (with proper tuning)
    • No more DPF clogging issues

    Q6. Is this street legal?

⚠ Off-Road Use Only – DPF removal is illegal for on-road vehicles in most regions. For competition/racing use only.

Q7. Will this fit my LML if I'm switching to a 5" exhaust setup?
A7: Yes! This pipe is compatible with both 4" and LML 5 inch exhaust setups, making it a great choice for anyone upgrading their 2015 Duramax exhaust, LML Duramax exhaust, or 2016 Duramax exhaust system for better flow and performance.

    Frequently Asked Questions

    What is a delete tuner?

A delete tuner is a device that reprograms yourtruck's ECM (computer) to turn off emissionssystems like the DPF, EGR, and DEF, allowing yourtruck to run without those components

Can l use a delete tuner withoutphysically removing TheDPF/DEF/EGR parts?

You MUST remove your DPF(Diesel ParticulateFilter), as the filter will clog and stop all exhaust flowwhen shut off. You will no longer need DEF(DieselExhaust Fluid), and you may remove your DEF tankif you wish, or it can sit empty. The EGR may remainas is, but we recommend removing the physicalparts as well.

Is a Delete Tune bad for mytruck's engine?

Quite the opposite. In fact, many customers reportimproved engine life, smoother shifting, and betterfuel economy (typically 3-5 MPG gains) when usinga quality delete tuner.

What's the difference between adelete tuner and a delete tune?

The tuner is the hardware device. The tune is thesoftware file that gets uploaded to your truck's ECM.Your delete tuner includes a delete tune when youpurchase from us.

Do delete tuners void my warranty?

Yes. Any emissions-related modification, includingtuning, can void the manufacturer's warranty. Manycustomers wait until after their warranty expiresbefore deleting.

Do l need a mechanic to install thetuner? How long does installationtake?

Not necessarily. Many of our customers install their delete tuner themselves in under 30 minutes. We include easy-to-follow instructions, and our support team is available if you need help.

Will my truck pass inspection oremissions testing with a deletetuner?

No. Delete tuners disable emissions systems, so your truck will not pass emissions tests in areas where they're required. Some states have exemptions (e.g. heavy-duty or rural-use trucks).

Can l go back to stock afterinstalling a delete tuner?

Yes. However, in most cases you will have to have the ECM flashed at the dealership. If this is a concern, contact our team and we can explain further.

    Is the delete tune VlN-locked?

Yes. All delete tunes are VIN specific and will only work on one truck. The tuner (hardware device), may be used on multiple vehicles for diagnostic or monitoring purposes where applicable.

What support do l get with my tuner?

We offer lifetime customer support, step-by-step install guides, and remote help from our tuning team. You're never left hanging, even after the sale.
