Installation

Install takes about 1hr with basic hand tools done on the ground of your driveway or garage. Quicker if you have automotive style lift. Cutting may be be required to fit shorter wheelbase bed/cab configurations. Clamps, hangers and hardware are included. You may have to re-use some factory hardware.
Tuner Required: To remove the DPF, Catalytic Converter (CAT), Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR), or Diesel Oxidation Catalyst (DOC), you must also remove emission-related sensors. To prevent check engine lights or diagnostic trouble codes, you will need a DPF delete-compatible tuner, which provides as part of their high-performance tuning solutions.

Can l use a delete tuner withoutphysically removing TheDPF/DEF/EGR parts?

You MUST remove your DPF(Diesel ParticulateFilter), as the filter will clog and stop all exhaust flowwhen shut off. You will no longer need DEF(DieselExhaust Fluid), and you may remove your DEF tankif you wish, or it can sit empty. The EGR may remainas is, but we recommend removing the physicalparts as well.

Can l go back to stock afterinstalling a delete tuner?
