Installation
📔DPF Delete PIpe Installation Instruction
Installation Process:
Installing a DPF delete kit from SPELAB typically takes about 1 hour with basic hand tools. This can be done in your driveway or garage, and the installation process is faster with an automotive lift. Some cutting may be necessary for certain vehicle configurations, such as shorter wheelbase trucks. The kit comes complete with clamps, hangers, and hardware, though you may need to reuse some factory components.
Tuning Requirements:
To remove the DPF, Catalytic Converter (CAT), Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR), or Diesel Oxidation Catalyst (DOC), you must also remove emission-related sensors. To prevent check engine lights or diagnostic trouble codes, you will need a DPF delete-compatible tuner, which SPELAB provides as part of their high-performance tuning solutions.
