Q: Why upgrade from the OEM plastic valve cover?
A: The billet aluminum cover is stronger, resists cracking, and provides better sealing and durability compared to the stock plastic.

Q: Does this valve cover require an external catch can?
A: No. Unlike some aftermarket covers, this unit includes a built-in baffle-style CCV system that reduces oil vapor without requiring an external oil catch can.

Q: Do I need extra hoses for installation?
A: If you don’t already have a CCV reroute kit, you’ll need a 36-inch rubber hose and proper braided hose routing from the rear of the engine on the driver’s side.

Q: Will this improve performance?
A: Indirectly, yes. By reducing oil contamination in the intake, it helps maintain turbo efficiency, cleaner combustion, and more consistent performance.

Q: Does it come with a gasket?
A: Yes. A brand-new sealing gasket is included.

Q: Is it difficult to install?
A: Installation is straightforward with factory bolt-on fitment. Basic mechanical skills are sufficient, but professional installation is always recommended.

Q: How does the CCV baffle work?
A: It separates oil vapor from crankcase gases before venting, preventing excessive oil mist from entering the intake system.

Q: What finishes are available?
A: Black, red, and silver anodized options are available.

Q: Does the anodized finish resist corrosion?
A: Yes. The anodized surface provides strong protection against corrosion and wear.

Q: Will this fit other Cummins engines?
A: No. It is specifically designed for the 2003–2005 5.9L Cummins.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a delete tuner?

A delete tuner is a device that reprograms yourtruck's ECM (computer) to turn off emissionssystems like the DPF, EGR, and DEF, allowing yourtruck to run without those components

Can l use a delete tuner withoutphysically removing TheDPF/DEF/EGR parts?

You MUST remove your DPF(Diesel ParticulateFilter), as the filter will clog and stop all exhaust flowwhen shut off. You will no longer need DEF(DieselExhaust Fluid), and you may remove your DEF tankif you wish, or it can sit empty. The EGR may remainas is, but we recommend removing the physicalparts as well.

Is a Delete Tune bad for mytruck's engine?

Quite the opposite. In fact, many customers reportimproved engine life, smoother shifting, and betterfuel economy (typically 3-5 MPG gains) when usinga quality delete tuner.

What's the difference between adelete tuner and a delete tune?

The tuner is the hardware device. The tune is thesoftware file that gets uploaded to your truck's ECM.Your delete tuner includes a delete tune when youpurchase from us.

Do delete tuners void my warranty?

Yes. Any emissions-related modification, includingtuning, can void the manufacturer's warranty. Manycustomers wait until after their warranty expiresbefore deleting.

Do l need a mechanic to install thetuner? How long does installationtake?

Not necessarily. Many of our customers install their delete tuner themselves in under 30 minutes. We include easy-to-follow instructions, and our support team is available if you need help.

Will my truck pass inspection oremissions testing with a deletetuner?

No. Delete tuners disable emissions systems, so your truck will not pass emissions tests in areas where they're required. Some states have exemptions (e.g. heavy-duty or rural-use trucks).

Can l go back to stock afterinstalling a delete tuner?

Yes. However, in most cases you will have to have the ECM flashed at the dealership. If this is a concern, contact our team and we can explain further.

Is the delete tune VlN-locked?

Yes. All delete tunes are VIN specific and will only work on one truck. The tuner (hardware device), may be used on multiple vehicles for diagnostic or monitoring purposes where applicable.

What support do l get with my tuner?

We offer lifetime customer support, step-by-step install guides, and remote help from our tuning team. You're never left hanging, even after the sale.
