PHASE 1: DISASSEMBLY

Step 1: PCV Crossover Removal

  1. Intake Access: Remove the primary air intake pipe to gain access to the top of the engine.

  2. Crossover Extraction: Loosen the 6mm bolts on both valve covers and the central hose clamp. Carefully remove the factory PCV crossover pipe.

    • Note: Retain the 6mm factory bolts, as they will be reused to secure the new adapters.


PHASE 2: COMPONENT PREPARATION & SEALING

Step 2: Billet Adapter Installation The kit includes two precision-machined billet aluminum adapters.

  1. Lubrication: Apply a light coat of clean engine oil to the O-rings to prevent tearing during seating.

  2. Seating: Press the O-ring end of each adapter into the valve cover ports formerly occupied by the crossover pipe.

Step 3: Intake Port Plug Insert the provided black block-off plug into the intake pipe port where the factory PCV line originally connected. Secure it firmly with a heavy-duty zip tie to ensure an airtight seal.


PHASE 3: HOSE ROUTING & CONFIGURATION

Step 4: Precision Measurement To minimize crankcase odors within the vehicle cabin, it is recommended to route both ventilation hoses toward the passenger-side wheel well.

  1. Measure and cut the provided supply hose into two sections; the primary lead should be approximately 5.5 feet in length.

Step 5: Fitting the Ventilation Lines

  1. Driver Side: Connect the longer hose to the billet adapter on the driver-side valve cover. Secure with the provided hose clamp and route the line behind the turbo intake inlet.

  2. Passenger Side: Connect the shorter hose to the passenger-side adapter and secure with a hose clamp.

  3. Alignment: Parallel the two hoses and secure them together using zip ties for a clean, organized appearance.


PHASE 4: CHASSIS SECURING & FINAL ASSEMBLY

Step 6: Routing & Clearance

  1. Chassis Path: Guide the paired hoses along the exterior of the frame rail, extending toward the wheel liner area behind the upper control arm.

    • Tech Note: Ensure the hoses are routed strictly along the outer frame to maintain maximum clearance from the high-heat exhaust system.

  2. Final Securing: Use zip ties to fasten both hoses to the vehicle's torsion bar. Trim the hoses to an appropriate length so that the terminals sit approximately 2 inches below the torsion bar.

  3. Reassembly: Reinstall the air intake pipe and any resonators/mufflers removed during Step 1.


POST-INSTALLATION ADVISORY

  • Initial Check: Start the engine and verify there are no obstructions in the lines.

  • Maintenance: Periodically inspect the hose ends for debris or ice buildup (in extreme cold climates) to ensure the crankcase remains properly ventilated.
