LEGAL DISCLAIMER & COMPLIANCE

OFF-ROAD USE ONLY: This high-performance racing component is engineered exclusively for competition or sanctioned off-road use. It does not comply with federal or local emissions laws for highway operation. Installation on any vehicle registered for public roads is strictly prohibited. The end-user assumes all legal liability and risk associated with the installation and use of this product.

PHASE 1: DISASSEMBLY & PREPARATION

Step 1: CAC Tube Removal

  1. Intake Protection: Remove the Charge Air Cooler (CAC) intake pipe.

    • Caution: Ensure the turbocharger inlet remains covered. Even microscopic debris can cause catastrophic damage to the compressor blades.

  2. Connector Release: Pull the spring clip until it seats in the quick-connect release pawl. Release the clamp and extract the CAC intake pipe.

Step 2: Fuel System Clearance

  1. Disconnect and remove the fuel filter outlet tube.

  2. Disconnect the fuel filter inlet tube and the injector return tube.

  3. Remove and discard the factory left-side fuel supply tube bolts (new hardware is typically recommended for reassembly).

Step 3: CCV Oil Separator Extraction

  1. Hose Disconnection: Release the retaining clip on the oil separator outlet hose. Disconnect the hose from the lower intake manifold.

    • Tech Tip: Use a lint-free shop towel to catch any residual oil drainage from the separator.

  2. Separator Removal: Remove the mounting bolts and lift the factory CCV oil separator from the engine.

PHASE 2: COMPONENT INSTALLATION

Step 4: Installing the New Billet Unit

  1. Surface Prep: Thoroughly clean all old oil residue from the breather port at the rear of the engine.

  2. Mounting: Position the new unit onto the breather port.

  3. Torque Spec: Install the two mounting bolts and torque them evenly to 96 lb-in (11 Nm). Do not overtighten.

Step 5: Intake Port Sealing

  1. Remove the factory ventilation hose.

  2. Install the provided block-off cap onto the intake inlet port.

  3. Security: While this port is not subject to high pressure, use the provided clamp to ensure a permanent, vibration-proof seal.

PHASE 3: REASSEMBLY & SYSTEM PRIMING

Step 6: Fuel Bracket & Pump Integration

  1. Reinstall the fuel filter and bracket assembly; tighten all mounting bolts to factory specifications.

  2. Install the new fuel injection pump supply tube assembly bracket. Install and torque the new left-side fuel supply tube bolts.

Step 7: Final Plumbing & Calibration

  1. Reconnect the fuel filter injector return tube and the inlet tube.

  2. Reinstall the fuel filter outlet tube and the CAC intake pipe.

  3. System Audit: Perform a final inspection of the turbocharger and air intake components for cleanliness and secure fitment.

  4. Startup Prep: Reconnect the batteries. Important: You must bleed the fuel system according to OEM procedures before attempting to start the engine to prevent air-lock in the high-pressure pump.

POST-INSTALLATION ADVISORY

  • Fuel Priming: Cycle the ignition to the "On" position (without cranking) multiple times to allow the lift pump to prime the system.

  • Leak Check: Start the engine and inspect all fuel and ventilation connections for leaks after the first heat cycle.
