Upgrade your late-model LML Duramax with this 5-inch downpipe-back DPF delete exhaust system, designed for compatible 2015.5–2016 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra 2500HD/3500HD pickups equipped with the 6.6L Duramax LML engine.

Constructed from T409 stainless steel, this system uses mandrel-bent 5-inch tubing to provide a larger, more direct exhaust path and a deeper diesel exhaust tone. It connects downstream of the factory turbo downpipe using the late-style 3-bolt flange.

This system is designed specifically for 2015.5–2016 trucks with the 3-bolt exhaust connection. It does not fit earlier V-band applications or Cab & Chassis models. Some cab, bed, and wheelbase configurations may require pipe trimming during installation.

Key Features

5-Inch Downpipe-Back Configuration:
Replaces the exhaust system downstream of the factory turbo downpipe while retaining the original downpipe.

Late-Style 3-Bolt Connection:
Designed for compatible 2015.5–2016 LML Duramax trucks equipped with a 3-bolt exhaust flange.

T409 Stainless Steel Construction:
Manufactured from heat-resistant T409 stainless steel for durability in demanding diesel exhaust applications.

Mandrel-Bent Tubing:
Smooth bends help maintain a consistent internal pipe diameter throughout the exhaust path.

Heavy-Duty Pipe Walls:
Approximately 2 mm wall thickness provides added strength and structural durability.

Larger Exhaust Path:
The 5-inch tubing is designed to reduce restrictive exhaust flow and support improved exhaust evacuation.

Deeper Duramax Exhaust Tone:
Produces a deeper and more aggressive exhaust note than the factory system. Actual sound varies by truck configuration and other modifications.

Installation Notes

Confirm that your truck has a 3-bolt flange before removing the original exhaust system. This product will not connect to the earlier V-band-style exhaust configuration.

Minor cutting or trimming may be required for certain cab, bed, and wheelbase combinations. Test-fit and align all sections before cutting or permanently tightening the clamps.

Installation time varies based on vehicle condition, corrosion, wheelbase, available tools, and installer experience. The supplied product information does not confirm whether welding is required or whether any factory hardware must be reused.

After installation, check exhaust clearance around the frame, suspension, spare tire, wiring, brake lines, and body. Recheck and retighten all clamps after the first complete heat cycle.

Professional installation is recommended.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this a DPF delete pipe or a complete exhaust system?
This product is a 5-inch downpipe-back DPF delete exhaust system. It includes exhaust pipe sections that extend from the factory downpipe connection toward the rear of the truck.

Does it replace the factory turbo downpipe?
No. This system connects downstream of the factory turbo downpipe. It is not a turbo-back exhaust system.

How do I know whether it fits my 2015 truck?
Inspect the connection between the factory downpipe and exhaust system. This kit requires a 3-bolt flange and will not fit the earlier V-band connection.

Does this system fit every 2015 Duramax?
No. It is intended for late-production 2015.5 trucks with the 3-bolt flange. Early 2015 trucks using a V-band connection require a different system.

Will cutting be required?
Some cab, bed, and wheelbase configurations may require trimming an intermediate pipe. Always test-fit the complete system before cutting.

Is welding required?
The supplied information does not confirm whether welding is required. Review the product connections and installation instructions before beginning installation.

Are clamps and hangers included?
Yes. The supplied product information states that exhaust clamps and hangers are included.

Does it fit Cab & Chassis trucks?
No. This system is not designed for Cab & Chassis applications.

Will additional vehicle calibration be required?
Replacing factory emissions-related exhaust components may affect vehicle operation and diagnostics. Consult a qualified professional to confirm vehicle compatibility, installation requirements, and applicable legal restrictions.
